I-25 rival New Mexico visits Las Cruces Sept. 20 for the 106th meeting in program history. The Aggies hit the road for the third time in less than a month on Sept. 27 to take on LSU. NM State has faced the national power once in 1996.
Georgia Southern comes to town on Oct. 4 for a first-time meeting between the two programs. NM State will then travel to Troy Oct. 11 and Idaho Oct. 18. The Aggies have faced Troy one other time in 2004, while the Aggies and Vandals are familiar conference foes, as that series dates back to 1971.
NM State will have the first of two bye weeks Oct. 25, followed by a contest against Texas State Nov. 1 in Aggie Memorial Stadium. The Aggies and Bobcats last met in 2012. Lafayette and NM State met in 2013, but will meet Nov. 8 in Las Cruces, this time as conference opponents. Lafayette leads the series 4-3 over the Aggies.
NM State will take their second bye week of the season Nov. 12, before welcoming UL-Monroe to town Nov. 22. The Aggies lead the series 3-0. NM State wraps up the season with a trip to Jonesboro, Ark., Nov. 29 to face Arkansas State. The last meeting between these two teams was in 2003.
The Aggies begin spring practice on March 16. Game times for the 2014 season have not been set.
