Courtesy of NMSU & Robin Zielinski LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State Football team held a free kids clinic, Saturday morning. Around 400 kids, ages 6-12 were in attendance, participating in a variety of drills with both NM State football players and coaches. The clinic lasted about two hours. “This was a great event for our football team and the community,” head coach Doug Martin said. “One of our goals as a team and a staff is to be more involved in the Las Cruces community and today was a perfect opportunity for us to reach out. The clinic was a lot of fun for us and you could tell the kids enjoyed it as well. I want to thank the kids and their parent's for coming out this morning and we look forward to many more events like this in the future.” |
