The New Mexico State track and field team continues its 2014 outdoor season when it travels to Houston, Texas to compete at the Rice Owls Invitational on April 26.
Baseball
The New Mexico State baseball team faces Grand Canyon University in a three-game Western Athletic Conference series in Phoenix, Ariz. starting Friday, April 25 at 7:30 p.m. (MT). The second game of the series is Saturday, April 26 at 7:30 p.m. and the finale is scheduled for Sunday, April 27 at 1:30 p.m. All three games are set to air over the radio waves on KSNM AM 570 and can also be heard from anywhere around the world on the Internet at www.NMStateSports.com.
Softball
NM State (26-19; 8-4 WAC) takes on No. 9 Arizona for a doubleheader on Wednesday, April 23 at 5 and 7 p.m. Both games can be heard live on KSNM AM570 beginning at 5 p.m. The team then continues to Orem, Utah to close out the regular season against Utah Valley on April 25 at 3 p.m. and finish with a doubleheader on April 26 beginning at 1 p.m. NM State needs just one win against the Wolverines to claim the No. 1 seed in the 2014 WAC Tournament.
Men’s Tennis
The New Mexico State men’s tennis team plays host to the 2014 WAC Tournament, April 25-27 and goes into the weekend as the No. 1 seed. The Aggies (11-10) earned a bye the first round and will face either No. 4 Kansas City or No. 5 Chicago State on Saturday, April 26 at 1 p.m.
Women’s Tennis
The New Mexico State women’s tennis team hosts the 2014 edition of the WAC Tournament, April 25-17. The Aggies (9-11) go into the conference tournament as the No. 3 seed and are set to play No. 6 Seattle U, Friday, April 25 at 9 a.m. at the NM State Tennis Center.
