Courtesy of AggieBall.com Pascal Siakam averaged 35 minutes as a starter for New Mexico State. He led all WAC freshmen in scoring (14.5 pts per game), rebounding (7.0 per game), and shooting (80.0%). In a late 69-61 win over Chicago State, Siakam contributed 12 points on 83% shooting. Following that in a 77-63 win against Missouri-Kansas City, he added 17 points on 75% shooting. Amazingly, Pascal Siakam has won the StatSheet WAC Freshman of the Week 5 times. The runner-up is Deshon Taylor from Missouri-Kansas City. Honorable mention goes to Joshua Meier from Chicago State. New Mexico State has won the StatSheet WAC Player of the Week award once this season.
