Salt Lake City, Utah – Don Decker, Director of Strength and Conditioning at New Mexico State University, was elected to serve as a member of the Board of Directors of the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches association (CSCCa) at the organization’s 14th annual National Conference which was held May 7-9, 2014, at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. The CSCCa was established in May 2000 to meet the specific and unique needs of collegiate strength and conditioning coaches around the country.

Lacey Rother was named WAC Player of the Year and first team All-WAC. Fiana Finau and Alyssa Ruiz also received first team All-WAC honors, while Emma Adams, Makayla McAdams, Brennalyn Nakamura, Staci Rodriguez and Celisha Walker were selected as part of the second team all-conference.

The Aggies enter the tournament as the No. 1 seed after going 29-21 on the season and 10-4 in the WAC. NM State finished second in the WAC standings behind Grand Canyon, who is not eligible to compete in this year’s tournament.
