She is included in the Faces in the Crowd series that features outstanding young athletes. Madison rides as a senior with the Hunter Ridge Equestrian Team from Charlestown, RI, in Zone 1. She earned the Leading Hunt Seat Rider award by winning the 2014 Varsity Open Championship at Hunt Seat Nationals on May 17th. Courtesy of NMSU LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The 2014 National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) Derby is scheduled to host the NRHA Derby Catch Ride competition on Saturday, June 28 at State Fair Arena in Oklahoma City. The competition will feature four riders from the National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA), representing four different institutions, including New Mexico State’s Brynn Larson.
Courtesy of NMSU & Robin Zielinski LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State Football team held a free kids clinic, Saturday morning. Around 400 kids, ages 6-12 were in attendance, participating in a variety of drills with both NM State football players and coaches. The clinic lasted about two hours.

A four-year varsity contributor for the Lady Wildcats, Fazio aided in the team’s back-to-back Region II Finals appearances during her junior and senior campaigns. The latter was cut short during the playoffs when she suffered a season-ending leg injury prior to the regional quarterfinals. Making a full recovery from the injury and returning to the court in February with the Texas Advantage Volleyball Blue 18 club squad, Fazio will continue her volleyball career into college. This year the 2014 edition is shaped like the state of New Mexico, while also holding several elements of symbolism.
