Courtesy of NMSU SPRINGVILLE, Utah – The New Mexico State women’s golf team won the Hobble Creek Fall Classic with a team score of 577 during two rounds of play on the Hobble Creek Golf Course in Springville, Utah, Sept. 8. The final round of the season-opening tournament was scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 9 but was cancelled due to heavy rains flooding the course.

Both honors are a first for each player. Louisiana-Monroe wide receiver Ajalen Holley was named the offensive player of the week this week.
