Courtesy of NMSU & ESPN ATLANTA – The New Mexico State football team came back from a 17-point deficit and outscored Georgia State 17-7 in the fourth quarter to defeat the Panthers 34-31 in the Georgia Dome, Saturday, Sept. 6. The Aggies move to 2-0 overall and 1-0 in Sun Belt Conference play, while Georgia State moves to 1-1 on the year and 0-1 in league play.

The organizers will announce the amount of blood gathered between the two schools during halftime at the Sept. 13 NMSU/UTEP game in El Paso. The Aggies won in four sets, 25-15, 25-21, 21-25, 25-23, to even their record at 2-2 on the young season.

Courtesy of NMSU THIS WEEK: The New Mexico State volleyball team (1-2) will host the NM State Tournament inside the Pan American Center from Thursday through Saturday, Sept. 4-6. The Aggies will play three matches and the tournament will have a total of six matches. Joining NM State in Las Cruces are North Dakota State, Radford and California.

This will be the Aggies first road game of the season and their first game coming off a win at home against Cal Poly (Aug. 28).
