Courtesy of AggieVision DENVER — New Mexico State’s Dorottya Lennert has been named the Western Athletic Conference Women’s Swimmer of the Week for December 8-14. Lennert, a junior from Budapest, Hungary (CSIK Ferenc HS) swam exceptionally well at the UNLV Winter Invitational this weekend. On Saturday she won the 200 IM with a time of 2:04.16 which is now the fastest time in the WAC this season. In Sundays prelims of the 100 fly Lennert posted a school record and personal best time of 53.96 to lead the women’s event in the finals. She closed out the 100 fly just 1.1 second shy of first place with a time of 53.99. Her time of 53.96 is the fastest 100 fly time in the WAC this season. |
