Lutui played in all 12 games at left guard during the 2013-14 season, recording 55 knockdowns, with a season-high nine knockdowns coming against Louisiana (Nov. 2). His play helped leading rusher Germi Morrison rush for an average of 4.1 yards a rush on 109 carries for 451 yards and a team high four rushing touchdowns. His pass protection allowed quarterback Andrew McDonald to lead the aggies in passing, throwing for 2,497 yards and 15 touchdowns, averaging 208.1 yards a game.
The Aggies open up there season against Cal Poly at Aggie Memorial Stadium, Thursday, Aug. 28 at 6 p.m. (MT). The opener is being marketed as Ag Day, with over 40 New Mexico agriculture companies on display during tailgating. Single-game tickets start at $10 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under.
