Courtesy of NMSU LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The 2014 National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) Derby is scheduled to host the NRHA Derby Catch Ride competition on Saturday, June 28 at State Fair Arena in Oklahoma City. The competition will feature four riders from the National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA), representing four different institutions, including New Mexico State’s Brynn Larson. Ravienne Scott (South Dakota State), Taylor Brown (Fresno State) and Stephanie Rucci (Auburn) will also compete in this year’s NRHA Derby Catch Ride. All four riders earned First Team All-America honors this year in reining from the NCEA.
