These New Mexico State games, in addition to a previously announced long-term deal to televise New Mexico Lobos football and basketball contests, highlight the network’s dedication to fans in the state of New Mexico. During the 2013-14 season, ROOT SPORTS will televise a total of six football and 11 men’s basketball games involving the Aggies or Lobos.
As part of this new deal, Aggies fans in the Las Cruces area will also be able to view ROOT SPORTS-produced road games such as the matchup versus Colorado State that occurred on Nov. 30 and the game at Seattle U on Feb. 8.
"We are thrilled to announce this new partnership with ROOT SPORTS," said Steve Macy, New Mexico State Associate Athletic Director. "With this agreement, we are able to provide road game telecasts back to our home in Las Cruces, as well as expand the reach of our brand. We look forward to a long relationship."
“This new partnership demonstrates our commitment to fans in the state of New Mexico,” said ROOT SPORTS General Manager David Woodman. “We are excited to bring viewers compelling matchups throughout the Rocky Mountain region for years to come, especially heated in-state rivalries between New Mexico and New Mexico State,.”
