Representing the western region, the pitcher and first baseman helped her team go 6-1 during the week with a .688 batting average (11-for-16). She hit four home runs, two doubles and tallied 16 RBI. In the circle, McBride worked 27.2 innings and struck out 36 batters. The senior from Chaparral High School in Scottsdale, Ariz., is currently hitting .452 on the season with seven home runs, five doubles and 26 RBI. She has struck out 86 batters in 62.2 innings in the circle.
McBride joins Rachel Rodriguez, Corrin Green and Amy Bergeson as part of the Aggies 2014 signing class. The four each signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Aggies starting next fall.
