Up next for NM State is the rekindling of the Battle of I-10 against UTEP on Tuesday and traveling to meet in-state rival New Mexico on Saturday. The Aggies and Miners tip off at 6 p.m. on Dec. 3 in the Pan American Center. UTEP took the first meeting 94-69 in El Paso. NM State then makes the trip north for the lone meeting with the Lobos this season. The Dec. 7 tip-off is set for 7 p.m. at The Pit.
The New Mexico State women’s swimming and diving team returns to conference dual-meet action after participating in the Phil Hansel Invitational in Houston. The squad takes on Northern Arizona on Saturday, Dec. 7, at the NM State Natatorium. The meet is scheduled for an 11:30 a.m. start and is free to the public.
The New Mexico State men’s basketball team welcomes Rio Grande rival New Mexico to the Pan American Center, Wednesday Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. The game will be televised on ROOTS Sports. Check your local cable and satellite providers. You can also catch all the action with the ‘Voice of the Aggies’ Jack Nixon beginning at 6:30 p.m., on KGRT 103.9 FM. Tickets are still available by calling 575-646-1420. The Aggies will then travel to Spokane, Wash., to face No. 10/11 Gonzaga at 9 p.m. on ESPNU.
