The NM State women’s basketball heads to the 2014 edition of the Western Athletic Conference Tournament at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nev., March 12-15. Going into the tournament as the No. 5 seed, the Aggies face No. 4 Texas Pan American in the first round on Wednesday, March 12 at 3:30 p.m. (MT).
Softball
NM State continues on the road with a single game at San Jose State, March 13 at 1 p.m. The team then travels to Fresno State for five games beginning with Pacific at 4:45 p.m. on Friday, March 14. The Aggies also face St. Mary’s for the second time this season at 9:15 p.m. On Saturday, NM State meets Colorado State at 7 p.m. and host Fresno State at 9:15 p.m. To close out the weekend, the Aggies face Cal Poly at 12:15 p.m.
Baseball
The NM State baseball team will be on the road for the second straight weekend March 14-16 for a four-game series against UC-Davis in Davis, Calif. Friday’s game is slated for 3:00 p.m. (MT), while Saturday’s doubleheader begins as 1 p.m. (MT), followed by game two at approximately 5 p.m. The final game of the series is set for 1 p.m. (MT) on Sunday. The Aggies are currently 7-9 on the season and have lost four straight.
Swimming & Diving
The three divers on the New Mexico State swimming and diving team are slated to compete at the 2014 NCAA Diving Zone Championships in Colorado Springs, Colo., which begin on Thursday, March 13, and will run through Saturday, March 15.
Men’s Tennis
The New Mexico State men’s tennis team concludes its five-match road swing in California with three matches this weekend. The Aggies start the weekend by facing UC-Davis in Davis, Calif., on Friday, March 14, before heading to Sacramento, Calif., to meet Sacramento State on Saturday, March 15, and finishing off with Santa Clara on Sunday, March 16 in Santa Clara, Calif.
Women’s Golf
The New Mexico State women’s golf team heads to Mesa, Ariz., to compete in the Notre Dame Tournament hosted by Notre Dame. The three-round tournament begins Friday, March 14, and concludes on Sunday, March 16.
Men’s Basketball
The New Mexico State men’s basketball team is the No. 2 seed in the 2014 Western Athletic Conference Tournament and faces No. 7 seed Seattle U, Thursday, March 13 at 9:30 p.m. (MT) in Las Vegas, Nev.
