The Aggies take on I-25 rival New Mexico, Tuesday, March 25 at 3 p.m., than host their first WAC series of the season March 28-30, as Sacramento State comes to town. This will be the first games played at Presley Askew Field since March 2. The Aggies had 11 straight games on the road, finishing 3-8 during that spanned. NM State is 10-13 on the season and 2-1 in conference play. All games can be heard on KSNM AM 570 with Jeff Matthews.
Track & Field
The New Mexico State track and field team continues its 2014 outdoor season when it travels to San Marcos, Texas for the Bobcat Invitational on Thursday, March 27.
Softball
The Aggies continue with rivalry play by hosting the UTEP Miners on Tuesday, March 25 at 6 p.m. NM State then opens Western Athletic Conference play against Seattle U March 29-30. A single game versus the Redhawks is set for 6 p.m. on Friday, March 19, while the doubleheader is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
Women’s Golf
The New Mexico State women’s golf team travels to Saddlebrook, Ariz., to compete in the Mountain View Collegiate hosted by Missouri and Kansas State. The three-round tournament will be played on Friday, March 28, and Saturday, March 29, with the first two rounds on Friday and the final round on Saturday.
Men’s Tennis
The New Mexico Men’s tennis team heads to Lubbock, Texas, this week to meet the Texas Tech Red Raiders on Sunday, March 30, beginning at noon (MDT).
Women’s Tennis
The New Mexico State women’s tennis team will hit the road for the final time this season as the Aggies have three matches in California this week. The Aggies begin their trip with a matchup versus Cal State Northridge on Tuesday, March 25, in Northridge, Calif. The match is set for a 3 p.m. (MDT) start. NM State then travels to Irvine, Calif., to meet UC Irvine on Wednesday, March 26, also at 3 p.m., before heading to Fullerton, Calif., on Friday, March 28, to face off against Cal State Fullerton at 2:30 p.m.
