Courtesy of New Mexico State University LAS CRUCES, N.M. -- Current NFL player for the Green Bay Packers and former NM State Aggie will host the 2nd Annual Davon House USA Football FUNdamentals Clinic on the campus of NMSU Saturday, April 12, 2014, immediately following the Aggies’ scrimmage. The clinic is free of charge to kids, ages 7-13. The clinic will take place on the East Practice Field (corner of Stewart and Arrowhead) on the NMSU campus.

Brooks has eight years of coaching experience, including a year as an assistant for a team in the Western Athletic Conference.
Las Cruces, N.M. – The New Mexico State Athletics Department has named Suzanne Rosell Director of Sponsorship and Sales for the Aggies. Rosell brings more than 10 years of sales experience in both a university setting and the private sector.

Courtesy of New Mexico State University DENVER – New Mexico State’s Viviana Macias has been named the Western Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week for March 24-30. Macias, a sophomore from Guadalajara, Mexico (COBAEJ), helped the Aggies finish in a tie for sixth place at the Mountain View Collegiate in Tucson, Ariz., after posting a career-best total score of 2-over par 218 to finish in 10th place. Macias broke her previous career best by four strokes. She kicked off the tournament by shooting an even-par 72 during the first round and capped off the tournament by tying her career-low round, a 1-under par 71 in the final round. It is the first time in her NM State career that Macias has shot two rounds of par or better in a single tournament. Macias’ 10th place finish is her second top-10 performance of the year and her fifth-consecutive top-20 finish. Courtesy of New Mexico State University WACO, Texas -- The National Collegiate Equestrian Association on Tuesday announced its annual academic awards, including the Academic Team and the Academic Honor Roll. The Aggies landed 24 riders on this year’s list, including nine first team honorees, one second team selection, two honorable mention picks and 12 student-athletes on the honor roll.
