The NMSU Coca Cola Weight Facility of Aggie Athletics is getting a much needed upgrade this spring. It is being done locally by Samson Weight Training Inc, of Las Cruces. Samson Weight Training Equipment was founded by Dave and Linda Schroeder in 1976. Both Attended New Mexico State University, with Dave playing on the Football Team. Linda would go on to be the Head Coach of Women's Swim, Gymnastics and Field Hockey at NMSU.
Courtesy of New Mexico State University LAS CRUCES, N.M. -- New Mexico State head football coach Doug Martin Announced Wednesday that offensive line coach Steve Marshall has accepted a coaching position with the Green Bay Packers as their new assistant offensive line coach. Marshall was hired at NM State back in mid-January.
“Obviously we hate to lose coach Marshall to Green Bay but I understand what a great opportunity this is for him and his family,” Martin said. “We wish him the best of luck.” Martin will begin a search for Marshall’s replacement immediately. View Marshall's Coaching History Below: Courtesy of New Mexico State University Denver, Colo. – Sophomore Ashvarya Shrivastava and junior Susana Alcaraz were named second team All-WAC singles selections announced by the conference office, Wednesday morning. “Obviously I’m very proud of Susana and Ashvarya being named as second team All-WAC singles selections,” head coach Ivan Fernandez said. “They had the most wins out of anyone on our team, which is why I nominated them. For them to come in and be new members of our team and earn All-WAC honors is a great accomplishment.”

Sophomore Strahinja Trecakov earned first team singles honors, while sophomore Naveen Manivannan was named a second team honoree. “This is a bright light after a very tough ending to the season last week,” head coach Carlos Vargas said. “I’m happy for all the guys and their accomplishments this year and this is well deserved. It’s a great honor to be recognized after a very good season.”
The 2nd Annual Aggie Award took place on Monday April 28th, at the Corbett Center Ball Room. Awards were given out to Individual Student Athletes, Teams and Coaches.

But our team handled it great and I feel confident in the way they played.”
