The seventh installment of the Annual Tip-Off dinner is sponsored by Buffalo Wild Wings and begins at 6 p.m. with a trip down memory lane. Aggie fans can relive the five Western Athletic Conference championships of the Marvin Menzies era (2008, 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2014) with student-athletes and coaches. Memory lane will also include former Aggie greats from various eras.

“Growing up I wanted to play soccer,” explained Siakam. “I absolutely love soccer and it’s one of my passions. Courtesy of NMSU WACO, Texas – Elizabeth Solomon has been named Equitation Over Fences Rider of Month for September, as determined by the National Collegiate Equestrian Association and its selection committee honoring standout performances from the opening month of collegiate equestrian. Solomon, a senior from Midland, Pa., posted a 2-0 record in Equitation Over Fences for the month of September, with both victories coming on the road. In Solomon’s win against her opponent from then-No. 5 Kansas State, she achieved a new personal-best score of 86 and earned MVP honors. The Aggies return to action Friday, Oct. 17 and welcome Tennessee Martin to town. Courtesy of NMSU LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Due to a scheduling conflict with the New Mexico State women’s soccer match, the New Mexico State softball team’s doubleheader on Sunday, Oct. 12, at the NM State Softball Complex has been moved from an 8:30 a.m. (MDT) start to a 1:30 p.m. start time for game one. Game two will follow 20 minutes after the first game. The doubleheader versus Pima Community College will mark the final games of the fall schedule for the Aggies.

During the recruiting process he grew comfortable with the coaching staff and the connections he had with some of the student-athletes that were already associated with the program were deciding factors in continuing his education at NM State.
