“When I interviewed for the job, I spoke of creating momentum to inspire this great community. It is a community that we are all honored to be a part of, and as an Aggie alum, I love getting our guys out and spreading the word of NM State athletics,” said Green. “It was such a special day and the entire team was out in full force taking pictures with Aggie fans and sharing information about our upcoming season. We are all aware that it takes a full team effort of players, families, administrators and fans to be successful. We want to do our part in earning that support.”
The Aggies went door to door, and when given a commitment to attend games or to purchase Season tickets was given to the players, a Twitter Picture was sent out thanking the community along with the Twitter message #AggieUp.
“AggieUp is more than a phrase,” said Green. “Our team has turned it into an acronym for our core values……fAmily – team first inteGrity – enerGy positive – ownershIp – vivE por hoy – skill acqUisition – competitive. We really felt that both our players and the community ‘Aggie Up’d’ on Sunday and we look forward to making them proud.”
