Courtesy of New Mexico State University LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State Football team held a free kids clinic, sponsored by Sisbarro and Burger Time, at Aggie Memorial Stadium Saturday morning. Around 500 kids, ages 6-12 were in attendance, participating in a variety of drills with both NM State football players and coaches. The clinic lasted about an hour. “This was a great event for our football team and the community,” head coach Doug Martin said. “One of our goals as a team and a staff is to be more involved in the Las Cruces community and today was a perfect opportunity for us to reach out. The clinic was a lot of fun for us and you could tell the kids enjoyed it as well. I want to thank the kids and their parent for coming out this morning and we look forward to many more events like this in the future. I also want to thank Sisbarro and Burger Time for helping us put on this great event.” The Aggies will be back on the field this evening at 6 p.m. for the annual Spring Game in Aggie Memorial Stadium. Admission is free. #NMStateFootball Click to set custom HTML |
