Finau finished the week with a .444 batting average, a .524 on-base percentage, three home runs and 11 RBIs in six games played. She began the week by slamming a home run and finishing with three RBI against Middle Tennessee during the mid-week game.
“Finau was instrumental on our success last week,” head coach Kathy Rodolph said. “She was locked in at the plate and was clutch in key situations.”
She finished off the weekend in San Diego bringing in two homeruns against San Jose State going 2-for-3 at the plate. Finau now leads the Aggie team with nine home runs on the season and 31 RBI.
The Aggies take on I-10 rivals UTEP on Wednesday in Las Cruces at 6 p.m. before a doubleheader on Saturday at noon against one of the top teams in the country, Arizona.
