“Lacey is really locked in at the plate right now,” associate head coach Cat Heifner said. “She has stepped up in a big way this year and we are excited for the recognition she has earned.”
Rother, a junior from Long Beach, Calif., went a perfect 5-for-5 at the plate with two home runs, six walks and six RBI. She reached base in each of her 11 plate appearances and drew her first career intentional walk in the 17-2 win over Bakersfield on Saturday.
